That actually does sound great! I noticed Frieda's only mentioned in passing at the Wikipedia entry and Daisy doesn't have a description, but from your summary Static Shock probably passes the Rule (http://dykestowatchoutfor.com/the-rule), unlike a number of shows I have known and loved.
