If you're here because I'm [sheathandshear] on tumblr: hi! With the Tumblrpocalypse incoming, I'm potentially migrating back to this blog after six years of radio silence here. (Discovering a post I made here about graduating high school: yikes.) I hope that Dreamwidth will become fandom's home again -- I hated Tumblr and still miss LJ -- but things remain to be seen. Watch this space, I guess... In the meantime, though, I will start posting fic things here again.
I am, in fact, alive.
Dec. 30th, 2007 05:02 pmSo, after about a year six months of being AWOL on this account, I'm back and writing fic. Not at the pace I was before, because (surprise) I have a life. Apparently. Not entirely sure when I got one, or how, but I'm told they tend to creep up on you.
Basically, it's going to be seprate pieces, different fandoms, sporatic at best. Probably featuring a lot of stuff from Heroes (because as bad as it's looking right now, it was my first fandom and the love is not dead yet), some from Tin Man, maybe some House or, you know, whatever. There were probably be a lot of Adam Monroe, as well. I do not like his character, but for some reason my subconcious has decided that it's going to write the ultimate Adam fic and has ended up with ten thousand branches of the same tree.
Yeah. Not sure what's going on with that.
Will I be finishing Stars Shine Brightest? I don't know. My experience with ongoing projects has been spotty at best, and I kind of lost steam with that one pretty quickly. I might pick it back up, later on, but if this ever happens it would be a serial and not an in-progress work. I really don't like to dissapoint people, and I'm very sorry for anyone who's been missing it, and that I didn't give notice of stopping it. You all get virtual cookies. And sorry sundaes. Complete with whipped cream and a very regretful cherry on top.
