Sweet Charity time, you guys, and I'm up for auction, offering the fic of your choice. Come on: Up to 15,000 words! Any character* or pairing you want! A note about Supernatural fic: I'm totally in that fandom now, and I've written for it - Dean/Castiel, with about a million bajillion things in the works - but it was for Secret Angels, and thus currently anonymous. If you want to bid but just can't bring yourself to without solid proof, message me; I'll, er, nudge you towards it.

Ooh, not nearly as far as I should be. I haven't even made it up to the first season finale yet! (Bad vanitashaze, I know. My on-off television viewing habits are rarely conducive to squeeing with other fen; it always takes me so long to get through everything, though I'm not quite sure why. Maybe it's the paying attention aspect. I have so many problems paying attention long enough to watch an episode all the way through, or even worse, a movie, even if I'm really enjoying it - that's why I like going to movie theatres, because I can't just get up in the middle and wander away, or dance around, or start thinking about lunch. I have to pay attention. But anyway. Ramble ramble.)

Speaking of fandoms with awesome female characters: do you know where I can find episodes of Fringe? I'm not sure if I want to add another fandom to my rather tiny mental plate, but I am curious, and the files on the tvshare community I use on the El-Jay are those bizzarro hg-split things.

Awww, ramble! Your comment and a couple of other folks' have inspired me to add a few more songs to my Jesse fanmix post, since you're totally stoking my own Jesse love! I just dropped a bunch of prompts at ladiesbigbang - full of the usual suspects with respect to my fandoms, but also a bunch of new prompts and probably twice as many SCC prompts as any other fandom. Smokin' hot, strong, complicated women! So much awesome awaits you, whee.

I've never tried HJSplit on a Mac, but it was no trouble on a PC (though you need to have enough space for the program to create the joined-up file after you download the parts for a given file).

Thank you for the email! But I kind of hate you for reminding me about ladiesbigbang. Yet another challenge that I really, really want to do - 15,000 words over three months? Easy! I've written 10,000 in four days! And it could be my Anna/Cassie fic - but probably shouldn't, because of all the other fests & things I'm doing (Sweet Charity, lgbtfest, the Remix Redux 10), but may end up signing up for anyway, 'cause I'm dumb and greedy like that. (Though for being involved in a pretty misogynist fandom - i.e. Supernatural - I'm sure writing a lot of women or, well, two, but that's a lot of anyone for me. They may not be strong or complicated via canon, but damn if I won't make them that! *cheers*)

Arg, the temptation, it burns. And that's without the lure of SCC.
