Ladies and germs, the Heroes Fic Exchange is over, and I am so much the richer for it, because themollyedge wrote me Adam, and Hiro, and Adam/Hiro, and Yaeko (Yaeko!), and it is just beautiful. Or rather, not beautiful but something beyond beauty, because this is a work of art, my friends, this is circles and time-curves and “Hiro,” he says again, and the word holds all the decades of the earth inside its body. And the framework is an E.E. Cummings poem! Oh, read it. Read read read.

Incidentally, through some twist of fate or perhaps moderator, I ended up writing* for themollyedge. And it's about Adam and Hiro (and Ando) too! Go figure. It actually made it all the more cooler, once everything was posted and I got my head out of my ass long enough to check if someone had written something for me - d'oh, brain, it's an exchange - because it was like a very, very small Adam-Hiro-Ando-Yaeko fest between the two of us.

I was so excited that we wrote each other fic, but seriously? Yours blew mine out of the water. I just -- dear lord, Adam/Hiro/Ando that is so beautiful and heart-wrenchingly perfect -- gah. I still have trouble forming words. ♥

But it's also such a relief to know you liked yours. I'd been working on this other idea for about a week -- five ways Hiro and Ando might have met, all these different settings and situations and whatnot, but it just wasn't working, so I scrapped it and wrote the one I sent in instead at the very last minute. So. I was pretty nervous about it.

Ha. More mind-melding there, because, yeah, yours? I'm ashamed to say was written at the last minute too. And when I say last minute, I mean I started the night before (what I thought was) the due-date.*

So do I get special points or what?
