oh. good lord. This was totally, totally sweeping. Swept me right off my feet. Wow. You write magic. The line about Lassie being the one to break the most rules hit me so, so hard. Incredible. But all those other lines, too, were too perfect to believe if I couldn't see them right there. Shawn as a shell? The wedding ring that isn't waiting in Shawn's mouth? Wow.
