vanitashaze: Arthur during the last kick. (what the #@&%*$^ ? /)

CRAAAAAAAAACK. Oh my God, so much CRACK. And the Master in a dress. (Bet you Simm had a lot of fun with this one. But still.)

And now I really want a Supernatural / Doctor Who crossover with the Doctor and the angels. Because if you think about it, angels are pretty much souped-up time lords with less angst. They live really long - jury's still out on if they live forever, or exist as fixed points in time & space, which I'm rooting for (It would explain how they manipulate time/space, after all - instead of moving through it, I think they would stand still and move it instead) - and muck around with timelines and the time/space universe gunk. Not to mention this fascination they seem to have with humans. And the self-righteousness. That too.

My brain stopped working at the Master in a dress. I'll be off to watch it now.

Actually, that's a mistake. Not just one dress. Several.

*IS DEAD*

Hey, the Doctor loves the human race so I'm just gonna turn all of them into me! Jealous much, Master?

Bloody hell, that was brilliant. xDD

(Also, did you notice the reporter!master in a dress, the one who was jumping and clapping his hands? xDD)

To be honest, I was not too impressed with the first part, because while the actors served it up top notch - the chemistry between Tennant and Simm, & Tennant and the guy who played Wilf, was bloody AMAZING - the writing, how shall we say, sucketh. But the second part was really cool. If you are a Doctor/Master fan such as myself, you will LOVE the second part.

(I KNOW. He's so GLEEFUL.)

I actually couldn't remember what happened in the first part and what in the second (since I saw them pretty much one right after the other) so I had to look it up. Totally worth it, though because I got to see all those great Doctor/Master scenes again. Especially the one at the beginning of part 2! hmmmmm... *sighs happily*
you could be beautiful

Yeah, the chemisty between Tennant and Simm is the thing I'll miss most! They were just so perfect! Honestly, I can't imagine Simm with another Doctor... I hope they let him regenerate when he gets back... :/

You don't have any Doctor/Master recs do you? Since I'm not normally in DW fandom (I only watch the episodes with the master in them. Yeah, I know, I'm terrible. >.<) I'm having a hard time finding good ffs so I'd really appreciate some. (Sorry for being shameless *blushes*)

NEVER apologize for being shameless. It is a magnificent characteristic to have.

Let's see... I have a rather distinctive taste in fic, but I suppose if you liked my stuff, you'll probably love these, as they're what I wish I could write. [livejournal.com profile] astrogirl2's Eclipsing Binary (http://astrogirl2.livejournal.com/422799.html) is fabulous, as is [livejournal.com profile] mercurial_wit's trilogy Mendelian Inheritance (http://mercurial-wit.livejournal.com/39518.html#cutid1), Resonance Structure (http://mercurial-wit.livejournal.com/42968.html), and Uncertainty Principles (http://mercurial-wit.livejournal.com/43155.html#cutid1). The trilogy is based on three different scientific fields - biology, chemistry, and physics, if memory serves - but don't worry, it's perfectly kind and even intriguing to non-science fans. I can't dig up a summary for these - curse being underage - but they are FANTASTIC. Read and be amazed.

[livejournal.com profile] smithy161's A Sketch in Time (http://community.livejournal.com/thewordsmithery/5371.html) is quite elegant. The Doctor's most vivid memory of his home is one he will never be able to commit to paper. She tends to write Master/Doctor fic that's just a little bit off the norm, like Basic Physics (http://community.livejournal.com/thewordsmithery/5732.html?mode=reply), in which she writes in a measured, completely lucid Master narration and pulls it off.

[livejournal.com profile] livii's More Amnesia (http://community.livejournal.com/saxonvoters/101088.html) is not strictly Doctor/Master - there's also Romana - but it's kinky and eerie and I quite like it, anyway. It looks a bit like dying, making contact.

The Language of Forever (http://amberite.livejournal.com/421705.html) (lj user="amberite"> is a little bit about linguistics, but it's also quite relevant for post-Christmas Special reading, because it's also about how the Doctor's longevity effects his different relationships - to his home, to Rose, and to the Master. I highly suggest you check out her other stories, but most especially Phlogiston (http://amberite.livejournal.com/464129.html), for though I don't particularly like the writing at the end - it's a little bit lazy - it's also hot like a burning thing that is also very wrong. And, incidentally, it's written on the same prompt - sex during regeneration - as "Mendelian Inheritance".

[livejournal.com profile] th_saurus's Metric (http://th-esaurus.livejournal.com/592306.html) is probably the best Doctor/Master fic I've ever read. To read, go to her fic community - [livejournal.com profile] fic_saurus - and friend her.

Beyond these, I don't know. It's been so long since I was in the DW fandom, and apparently, I went on my great Doctor/Master binge before I figured out how to use the +Mem function. *hits self on head*

OMG, thank you so much! :D This is far more than I could have hoped for! (I just hope you didn't go through too much trouble finding these... *still feels kind of guilty)
The summaries all sound very intriguing and I'll definitely check them out!

Nah. 'Twas insomnia-breaking. And let me know how it goes! I always wonder about my rec'ing skills.

Hey, if you're looking for DW/SPN crossovers, I know a couple, not EoT related necessarily.

A Human, an Angel and a Time Lord Walk Into a Bar (http://sweetsyren.livejournal.com/310495.html?style=mine) by [livejournal.com profile] sweetsyren. Semi Dean/Cas.

Gen commentfic (http://clex-monkie89.livejournal.com/742063.html?thread=6348463#t6348463) by [livejournal.com profile] bekkis.

I've also written two Ten/Master fics (http://silver-scrawls.livejournal.com/tag/pairing:+ten/master) at my journal.

Oh, thanks! From what I was able to read of it this morning before I had to leave, the first looked awesome, and I will definitely check out the other ones.
