and only idiots are fit to run the country
When E are the white kids who thought it'd be funny to name their group "REGGIN" (hint: hold up to a mirror); and F The idiots who spent the bus ride screaming "Fuck the fags!" out the windows

Well said... I agree with your mother's take on it, from what I remember of the election!
And as we all know - use a word or phrase too often (global warming, I'm looking at you) and it becomes meaningless pretty damn fast.
True, although that hadn't occurred to me then; I always want something worse than anything the English language can currently provide to call those asshole bigots.
