A regular! I might actually tune in! When does S2 start?

Oh ahaha, I just found out Matt Bomer was the guy who starred as Eliza Dushku's love interest in Tru Calling, a short-lived and extremely mediocre show I watched for Dushku after Buffy ended. Well, by all reports White Collar is a lot better!

When does S2 start? Er... no one seems to know, or at least, Wikipedia doesn't. But she's also going to be in the S1 finale, and that's on March 9th. (YAY.) So, I'm guessing... sometime in the fall or late summer?

Ahahaha Tru Calling. I actually loved that show back in the day, in my superpower-starved and preteen way, along with the animated Static Shock. (The only difference being, Static Shock was actually cool and adorable, whereas Tru Calling was... not.) I don't recall much, except her continual surprise at being rewound - you would think she would get used to it after a while - the admittedly fun morgue guy, and Joe Flanigan guest-starring once, but then again, like you said, it was pretty mediocre. Matt Bomer was in it, though? Huh. Despite being criminally good looking (HA SEE WHAT I DID THERE I MADE A PUN) he really hasn't had the best of luck with starring in decent shows. The last time he had a lead was in Traveler, and Lord knows that was awful.

Oh yeah! I almost wish I remembered that episode better, though not enough to look for it, heh.

Bomer's character died before the end of the first season in order to make room for the replacement guy... Jason Priestley as the nemesis, ahaha.

Oh yeah, the photographer! I remember him! For a moment, though, I was completely doing the o.O, because you said "love interest" and I thought, wait, he's the blond medical student? Just how good is their makeup department? And as far as I can recall, Flanigan was this total psycho who whacked (or attempted to whack) his wife. He's actually pretty good at those roles, isn't he? I mean, no one can beat Michael C. Hall for psycho, but Flanigan isn't a bad second or third.

Tangentially, have you seen the Tru Calling DVD cover? It is bizarre. But all the same, I think you might be amused.

Actually yes, now I do remember that episode! I agree, Flanigan is really good in those roles. In the episode it was a fakeout - the character's wife turned out to be lying about, well, everything - false reports in 911 calls and all, and she's arrested in the end.

Wow, that cover really sells the show: Dushku looking expressionless and serious cleavage. I guess they couldn't afford a better Photoshopper? It's like eerily prescient foreshadowing for her general look on Dollhouse, despite all the costume changes they do.

And yeah, I don't know what it is with tv series DVD covers - apparently, there's a serious dearth of good Photoshoppers in that particular department, because so many of them are just downright awful. Seriously, I could do better, and I have maybe 40-50 hours of experience using the program. Some of them are good, and some of them are downright gorgeous - Carnivale and Six Feet Under come to mind - but others, eh, no. Most seem to have a knack for using the most unflattering promo shots of the actors in existence. And, yeah, poor Dushku. I've never seen Dollhouse - I've been so turned off by all the squick that other people have reported, and looking at the synopsis, I'd have to agree - so I can't exactly comment, though.

Truth. In large part due to the overwhelming shininess, her face looks about as two-dimensional as the paper it's printed on.

You totally could! All your mix covers are really pretty. And I agree, DVD covers for TV series tend to look terrible.

UGH THAT IS SO EXCITING. I love WC, but I was so annoyed when Diana randomly disappeared. Like, that was legitimately the thing I was most upset about on that show. So if she's coming back, I AM SO HAPPY. :DDD

We are going to be having a DIANA PARTY here. Just - oh. I hope, hope, hope they don't make her suddenly het!sex-curious and then make googly eyes at Neal. That would be awful. But other than that - well. Obviously, I can't wait. HYPERVENTILATING with SQUEE. Seriously.
