calling all doctor who fans: help, plz?

Does anyone know of any quotes or particular moments during New Who that showcase the Doctor's ability to be a self-righteous bastard Ubermensch characteristics? I found the whole "You want to take it to a higher authority? There isn't one," bit - which I think is from New Earth - but despite the fact that I know there are just a PLETHORA of examples out there, I can't seem to find any.

I swear, it's quite important.

Do you want angry intense Doctor, or simply a bit full-of-himself (even funny) Doctor?

I've only just begun watching the new DW series, but I might be able to find some for you.

P.S. Yes, that line is from "New Earth." He's talking to one of the cat nuns about their playing god, creating all those humans solely for experimentation purposes in order to create cures for thousands of diseases.

Angry intense, preferably. Though funny might work as well.

Thank you so much.

Uh. Does when he asked Jenny's entire civilization to base their new society off of his beliefs count? Because that example certainly sticks out.

Yes, thanks! I'd forgotten that bit.

Condemning the Family of Blood to eternal torment - I know the writer, Paul Cornell, said Ten would come around eventually, but we shouldn't have to rely on sources outside the narrative itself for information like that!

"Come around eventually"? What, he's going to drag Mother Dearest out of the black hole he shoved her into, or get Father Dearest out of that endless pit? Which, you know, is endless?

...Perhaps he's just going to send the extended family notice.

Dear Sir or Madam,

I kind of killed your relatives. Sorry about that!

Love, the Doctor

...?

aww, the endless pit... of love??

Your response has made my day a little brighter, for serious!

... yeah, I think that on this one, The Author Is Dead.
