I'd say my reaction to him wasn't OMGLOVE as much as ...whut?; I think most of my love not-dislike for him has come from sam_storyteller's AU series, The Rules of Torchwood Three: Nicolas Redux (http://sam-storyteller.livejournal.com/128150.html?mode=reply), which is all kinds of wonderful and amazing and a bit ridiculous, for me, because Nicolas is one of my favorite TW characters now and he's not even on the show. -.- Damn, why can't they hire some of us fans to write the episodes? The increase in Jack/Ianto makeouts aside, I'm sure it would end up much better.

I also hated the Narnia books. Or, well, the one I read, anyway. Annoying language and blatant Jesus-worshipping, that was annoying. But I think it was the illustrations of dancing badgers (on every. single. page.) that did it in for me.

Edmund/Peter, huh? The only one I can think of is airspaniel and cerebel's My Mirror, My Sword and Shield (http://community.livejournal.com/cerebel_fics/69017.html), which is kind of very Peter/Edmund/Caspian but still, quite excellent. (Though, really, of course it is. Their stuff is always good.)
