This was utterly beautiful. Dark and bittersweet and ridiculous but so well done that I lost myself in it. I've never read this pairing before and while I'm shaky on Elle's character I know this is perfection. Thank you for writing such a piece to introduce to a waning-in-quality fandom.

One random thought: the hourglass bit reminded me of Jasmine in the Aladin movies when Jafar trapped her in the hourglass. I don't know if it was intentional but I loved it and that one bit tied it all together for me.
